Clothing & Accessories Haul!

Clothing & Accessories Haul

As mentioned in my Makeup Haul, I was in Vegas a few weeks ago and I did some shopping (as always).  Anyone who knows me, knows I absolutely love shopping…for almost anything, but particularly makeup and clothing/accessories.  So I thought it might be fun to share some of other the deals I scored, even despite the low Canadian dollar!  I’ve also added in a few things I got here in Canada too.

When in Vegas, I always make a point of visiting the North Premium Outlet Malls and the Fashion Show Mall.  The Outlet Malls are about a $20/$25 cab ride (one way) off the Las Vegas strip and offer 175 outlets and stores.  I’ve been to a few outlet malls but this is one of the best I’ve been to, especially given that they’ve recently expanded.  My favourite shops here include Loft Outlet, Kate Spade and Saks on 5th.

The Fashion Show Mall is at the end of the north end of the Las Vegas strip and offers 250 stores and 8 department stores.  It’s a traditional, indoor mall (yay air conditioning!) and some of my favourite stops include Macy’s, Ann Taylor, The Limited and Lucky Brand.

First up, here’s what I got at the Outlets:

Guess Hatti Denim Shorts

Guess Factory Hatti Denim Shorts (Dark Wash) – $22.50 USD: When shopping in the US I tend to stay away from any stores that are also available in Canada, however on this trip I didn’t pack enough shorts and I needed another pair.  After wandering through the entire outlet mall and not finding anything, I stopped in the Guess Factory store as a last resort.  I can’t remember the last time I shopped in here – I think that once I entered my 30’s it just seemed a little too young for me.    However I was pleasantly surprised with these shorts.  They fit so well, are the perfect length and are super comfy!  I actually visited my local store here afterwards and picked up a pair in Black (and actualy paid less in Canadian than I did in US dollars – damn it!)

Guess Elin Twill Shorts

Guess Factory Elin Twill Shorts (Dry Moss) – $22.49 USD: I didn’t expect to find one pair of shorts, never mind two here so that was a bonus.  These have a little more length on them when compared to the denim ones above and I like the stretchy fabric.  They have stretched out a bit so I could have easily gone down a size.  I wanted to pick up another pair but my local store only had the white left which were a bit too see-through for my liking.

Loft Outlet Tank Tops

Loft Outlet Tanks (not available online) – $8.10 USD each:  Not much to say here – basic tanks in basic colours but staples in my wardrobe.  I always pick up at least a couple tanks or tees at the Loft Outlet because they’re cheap but pretty good quality.

Loft Outlet Floral Print Dress

Loft Outlet Floral Print Dress (not available online) – $29.99 USD: I literally needed another dress like I needed a hole in the head but this was such a flattering cut I couldn’t pass it up.  Plus the floral print was so pretty and feminine.

Kate Spade Pave Bow Ring

Kate Spade Pave Bow Ring (not available online) – $13.80 USD: I’ve been wanting a bow ring for the longest time and I went into the store hoping to find exactly this.  This came in gold and silver too but I ultimately decided on the rose gold.  This is my favourite purchase!

And from the Fashion Show Mall:

Ann Taylor Relaxed Linen V-Neck Top

Ann Taylor Relaxed Linen V-Neck Top (Navy Blue) – $10 USD: I rarely buy loose fitting tops like this – I always feel like they make me look bigger.  And if I had been shopping online, I wouldn’t have even looked twice at this given some of the styling on the models.  But I tried this on and it was so comfortable I couldn’t pass it up.  I love the look of linen (one of my fave fabrics for t-shirts) and this looks great with jeans or leggings, but will likely be worn more around the house than anything.

Ann Taylor Modern Skinny Ankle Jeans

Ann Taylor Modern Skinny Ankle Jeans (Quiet Grey) – $20 USD:  I have legs that are too short for regular length pants yet too long for petites so I really struggle finding jeans and pants that fit.  And I hate taking things to the tailor!  So I’m praying that skinny ankle jeans never go out of style.  These are the perfect length, fit well and I couldn’t pass up the “Quiet Grey” colour.

Miken Draped Tank Coverup

Miken Draped Tank Coverup – $12.87 USD:  I never shy away from colour, especially anything that’s swimwear related! This is a very vibrant neon pink – the colour isn’t coming across in the photo as much as it does it person.  The material is pretty thin but it’s also really soft and it looks super cute on!  Even if this only lasts me a few wears I can’t really complain given the price.

Chinese Laundry Gweneth Metallic Flat Sandal

Chinese Laundry Gweneth Metallic Flat Sandal (Gold) – $39.99 USD: These were a last minute purchase – we were going out for the night and my feet just couldn’t take another night in the heels I had brought with me.  I wanted flats but they needed to have sparkle or some kind of embellishment to fancy them up a bit.  These were cute and comfortable and did the job – not sure I would pay full price for them though.

And a few things I picked up here at home:

Lucky Brand Tie Dye Twist Strap Dress

Lucky Brand Tie Dye Twist Strap Dress (not available online) – $50.09 CAD: I actually purchased this dress a few months ago but I’ve been wearing it non-stop every since.  This is my go-to style for dresses in the summer – I love the soft, stretchy cotton and the drawstring waist.  It’s super flattering and comfortable.  While this isn’t available online, I saw it in-store at the outlet in Las Vegas, as well as in my local Lucky Brand Outlet.  Pick it up while it’s still around!

Sam Edelman EspadrillesSam Edelman Espadrilles – $52.50 CAD: I can’t decide if I should keep these or not – I really wanted them in black but they were sold out.  I like the pattern but when it comes to everyday shoes I usually prefer solids as they’re easier to match with outfits.  Plus they’re slightly wide for my feet.  Still deciding!

Are you a shopaholic like me?  Where are your favourite places to shop?

What I’m Wearing: Spring 2016

Spring 2016 Fashion

I’ll admit it – I’m no fashionista.  I’m not one to be sporting the newest fashion trends, in fact by the time I’ve warmed up to what could be considered a trend, it’s usually no longer in style.  I love things that are comfortable and casual and I tend to stick to tried and true basics like jeans and t-shirts.  But I also like prints and colour so I’m not totally boring. 😉

I thought it might be fun to go through some of the more popular trends for the season and share with you what I will and will not be embracing.  And then show you what I actually have been wearing (and loving!).

Trends for Spring

Culottes: Okay, I have to be honest – I’ve NEVER liked these and I don’t think I EVER will.  I don’t find them the least bit flattering. Kudos to those who can pull them off but they’re definitely not for me.

Bodysuits: Been here, done this and not re-visiting.  If only for the avoidance of unnecessary wedgies.

Cold Shoulder Shirts: Again, these were in style when I was in Junior High.  I didn’t have one back then and I’m undecided if it’s something that should be repeated. I will admit that this one is kinda cute.

Denim:  This I can get behind.  I’ve seen lots of chambray dresses and rompers. I keep reading that skinnies are no longer in style but I won’t be ditching them anytime soon.

Lace-up Flats: I think these are adorable but I’m not sure they’re for me.  I’m concerned about the comfort factor – I feel like the laces might cut into my skin. These look like they could potentially be comfortable.

What I’ve Been Wearing

Spring has been unseasonably warm here but lately it’s been alternating between a week of super warm weather (i.e. mid-to high 20’s Celcius) and a week of windy, chilly weather (highs below 10 degrees Celcius).  As a result I’ve had to keep some warmer/thicker clothing on hand.

one: One of my favourite tops lately has been this Melange sweater from Joe Fresh; this works so well with leggings as its a bit longer in the back and it’s just loose and comfortable.

two: I own one of these linen tees in a bright coral shade from Gap and I want more.  They’re nice and light for warmer days but be warned they are thin and a little see-through.

three: I’ve had my fitted denim jacket (similar) for years and it’s still going strong.  I throw mine over dresses, t-shirts, and tanks and it takes me everywhere.  It’s a wardrobe staple.

four: I spotted these Keds a few weekends ago and they’re on my purchase list.  I need a new pair of lightweight sneakers to pair with shorts and jeans and I love the soft grey colour on these.  Plus they’re super comfy!

five: I’ve done it, I’ve found the most comfortable pants in the world!  They’re jeggings from Joe Fresh and unfortunately I can’t seem to find the exact link on their website, although these look very similar.  They literally feel like sweatpants but look like denim; in-store they had them in navy, olive green, tan and off-white.  Going back to pick up the olive green and off-white pairs stat and if you see them, I’d highly recommend you at least try them on!  Note: They retail for $29.99 CAD.

sixThis tote was included in my 2015 Non-Beauty Favourites and I’m still loving it in 2016.  I can throw multiple things in here and because it’s so light it doesn’t weigh my shoulders down.  Plus the blue and white stripes are classic and go with anything.

seven: I broke out my pink cropped jeans weeks ago and while mine aren’t quite as vibrant as these, I feel like nothing says Spring more than a pair of pink pants!

eight: I picked this ballet dress up in the clearance section of Gap about a month ago and the style is beyond flattering. They’ve brought it back for Summer in pink and blue, both of which are gorgeous.

nine: I always feel weird wearing a black belt in Spring/Summer.  I know that’s weird but I just do.  Which is why I typically swap my black belt out for my brown one (similar).

ten: I like wearing my pink floral scarf (similar) with my denim jacket to add a pop of colour to my outfit.  Just make sure you pick up a lightweight one or you’ll likely sweat to death.

eleven: I can’t live without my white jeans (similar).  I always find they look so fresh, crisp and chic.  For a few hours at least! 😉

twelve: I bought this romper in solid black at the Gap Factory Store and while I don’t expect it to last me more than one season, I could care less because it’s so comfortable and I paid $14 for it.  The only PITA is trying to get it off when using the bathroom (there’s no buttons or zipper on it anywhere).

thirteen: I walked through Europe for 3 weeks straight in a pair of Tom’s Espadrilles and I’ve never been more happy with a pair of shoes.  I find that it can be difficult to find the Espadrille styles in-stores, so I’m ordering these off Toms.ca (bonus – they’re on sale!)

This & That Fridays – November 27

picmonkey_image-33

Happy Black Friday all!  I hope those in the US enjoyed Thanksgiving with your famillies and friends and those in Canada enjoyed a regular Thursday.  And today I hope you’re successful in fighting the masses at the Black Friday sales!

I bought these Lucky Brand boots a few weeks ago and I looooovve them!  I ended up exchanging the Marc Fisher ones I bought a month ago as they just weren’t me.  These ones though – I wear them with everything and anything.

This is seriously the best salsa ever.  I discovered it a few years ago at a local craft fair and I ordered a case of it.  I can literally eat an entire jar in one sitting.

Need some budget-friendly and homemade gift ideas?  This list of 30 days of edible gifts has some seriously delicious inspiration, such as chocolate-covered bacon (yes please!).

I’ve discovered my new favourite, go-to t-shirt!  Lightweight, soft and a relaxed fit while still figure-flattering.  And currently 50% off!  Thank you Gap!

Do you follow The Small Things Blog?  I discovered her years ago and I’ve been a loyal follower ever since.  I really like this recent hair tutorial she did. She always makes them look so easy but I might actually give this one a try for those rare days when I skip my contacts.

I wish you a wonderful weekend!

RW & Co. purchases!

picmonkey_image-17

So I made 2 mistakes this weekend: first – I went to the mall.  Second – I went into RW & Co. when they had 40% off the entire store. My credit card hates me right now.  #sorrynotsorry  Despite the fact that the entire store was 40% off I think I restrained myself quite well.  I feel like I could have spent a lot more.  Gold star for me!  Here’s what I purchased:

Floral Pencil Skirt – $59.90 (less 40%!)

This is from their Spring line and I couldn’t find any pictures of it other than this one via their Pinterest account which does not do it justice.  It looks pretty short on the model but on me it hits just above the knee so it’ll work great for work.  The floral print on the front and back are bright and colorful and the white triangular panels on the side keep it from being overwhelming.  The one thing I love and hate about RW’s skirts is that they typically have a stretch lining in them.  I say love and hate because skirts – particularly white ones, are always better when they are lined!  But I’ve found with some of their skirts that the lining really stretches out after a wear or two and makes the skirt so big that it’s unwearable for me.  Hoping that this isn’t the case with this one!

Sleeveless Chiffon Dress with Tie Belt (Black Multi) – $69.90 (less 40%!)

This was the last one of these in this print on the rack and I scooped it right up.  I wasn’t sure how it was going to look on, as on the hanger it didn’t seem to have much shape.  Once I got it on I loved the fit – the tie belt defined my waist and the chiffon glided over any lumps and bumps.  I’m always a fan of pockets in a dress but sometimes they can really alter the fit of the dress and look bulky around the hip area which is never a good look. The pockets here are sewn properly so it’s not an issue.  Length-wise this hits me just at the knee so it’s also perfect for work.  I was tempted by the Dazzling Blue and Georgia Peach colors but ended up going with this one I felt I’d need to wear a slip underneath with the other two (they weren’t sheer by any means but I always just feel more comfortable doing so when wearing thinner fabrics in sheer colours).  I’ll be wearing this to work later this week when the temperatures are slated to head into the high 20’s!

Natalie Pastel Jegging (Pink Quartz) – $59.90 (less 40%)

When I first heard that jeggings were making a comeback I was appalled.  I remember the acid wash, printed versions that were around in the 80’s and how horrible they were back then.  Didn’t understand why they’d ever need to be revisited.  I still agree with that sentiment, however I now understand the appeal of this decades version of them.  I own a few pairs and I tend to reach for them often as they are some of the most comfortable pants I own.  When I spotted these in the store, I was immediately drawn to the color of them.  In the picture above they look like a soft blush color but in real life the color is closer to a muted bubblegum pink.  Regardless I absolutely love them, not just because of their amazing color but because of how unbelievably soft these are!  Given that they are jeggings they are also obviously super stretchy which just adds to their overall comfort factor.  The only gripe I have with them is that they are a little long – I’m going to see if I can get away with just folding them up or under to avoid taking them to the seamstress (#lazy).  I can’t wait to wear these to the office on Friday with a cute blouse!

Wishing you a great week!

Sandal inspiration

picmonkey_image-15

The minute Spring hits the first thing I ditch are my boots.  We can get snow up until May here but I don’t care, I can’t wait to let my feet be free after months of being confined and restricted!  It’s always so fun to go shopping for new spring and summer footwear so here are some of my favourites!

Stacked Heel

I can’t remember the last time I wore a stacked heel – it’s been ages but it’s kind of nice that they are making a comeback. The coral colour on these is great and would look great with a tan!

Flat

Franco Sarto is one of my favourite brands for shoes, and in particular sandals.  The last few years I’ve purchased wedges and flat sandals from this brand and I’ve always been super impressed with the comfort, price and quality of them.  Loving these chocolate brown flats – super versatile!

Ankle Strap

I’m usually not a fan of ankle strap sandals because I don’t feel they give my foot enough support (I’m always rolling my ankle 😦 ) and I’m not a fan of how they cut the line of your leg off at the ankle, making your legs look shorter.  But these?!?!  How pretty would the white or ivory ones be for a bridal shoe?  Want these right now!

Lace-Up

The colour of these is pretty much amazing.  I feel like they’d be a huge pain in the ass to put on and take off and if you’re feet tend to swell at all, probably want to stay clear of these but they are definitely statement shoes!  Perfect for a night out!

Embellished

These are truly like jewellery for your feet!  I think they’d be great for adding a little something extra to basic denim shorts or a casual maxi dress.  These are so bright and colourful and beautiful – they’d go with anything!

Wedge

I like pairing wedges with denim capris and short cotton dresses and I tend to gravitate towards cork soles because I find them the most comfortable.

Have a great weekend!

Weekend Purchases!

picmonkey_image-13

I hit up the mall this past weekend without any kind of goal in mind, which is always somewhat dangerous.  Here’s what I found:

ONE: Express Black Cami Sundress ($41.93 CAD – SALE!)

The minute I tried this on I knew I had to have it – it’s the perfect sundress for summer!  Unfortunately the pic above really doesn’t do it justice and it was basically impossible for me to get a good picture of it myself.  Anyway, empire waist dresses can be tricky on me – sometimes they make me look pregnant (#nope).  This one is cut perfectly so doesn’t flare out too much at the waist. I also love the length because it’s not too short and not too long.  I feel like it’s versatile too – dressy with a cute cardigan and heels or casual with a denim jacket and wedge sandals. It’s super comfy, the only issue being is that I’d need to wear a strapless bra with it, which is a slight annoyance.

This comes in a wide range of colours and I really wanted it in this blue floral print but they didn’t have my size; they do have it online though so I might just order it.  They have some really nice lighter colours too but I didn’t like how sheer the material was.  I suppose you could wear some kind of slip underneath but that seems like too much work for me so I’ll just stick with the darker versions.

TWO: Splendid Bandeau Top & Tunnel Side Tie Bottoms ($44.40 & 33.60 CAD – SALE!)

Ugh bathing suit shopping.  #torture You may remember this post a month or so I did on bathing suit inspiration.  Shortly after I went into H&M and grabbed a bunch of their suits to try on.  They looked great online, they looked decent in store but they were horrible on.  They were nowhere near close being true to size (even though I picked up some tops that were sized according to bra sizes), the materials were thin and I felt like they could potentially disintegrate after one use.  I’m not sure what I was really expecting coming from H&M but they were a huge disappointment and I walked out with empty hands.

I also gave Victoria’s Secret a try again, despite not really loving anything in their swim line this year.  As mentioned they have lots of slinky, skimpy suits this year which is fine if you like that kind of thing but they were really not for me.  I didn’t have any luck there either and I was feeling pretty discouraged.

Until this weekend when I went into the Bay and was actually kind of surprised at the variety of swimwear they carry.  I picked out a few options from Oakley, Jessica Simpson, BCBG and was about to head into the fitting room when I noticed this suit on a rack:

picmonkey_image-10

What drew me to it was the adorable corset-like back.  I’m also a fan of stripes so I added it to my haul and headed to try them all on.  I made my way through my choices which were all pretty disappointing and then I got to this one and I loved it immediately!  Both the bottom and top fit perfectly which I was really surprised at – I’m usually not a fan of side tie bottoms nor bandeau tops as I rarely get them to fit properly.  This comes with a removable neck strap so that’s nice to have that as an option if I so choose.  The material is nice and thick and it feels really well made.  Because it fits so well I actually feel pretty confident in this suit and I’m looking forward to wearing it!

THREE: OGX Kukui Oil Shampoo ($9.99 CAD)IMG_7905Lately I’ve been really frustrated with my hair – if its raining, there’s a chance of rain or if there’s even a bit of humidity in the air my hair just falls flat and frizzes right up.  So I thought I’d try a new shampoo specifically meant for frizz as I was running low on my regular shampoo. I came across this and thought I’d give it a try.  I’ll do a full review on this once I’ve had a chance to fully vet it.   FYI the entire OGX line is on sale for $6.99 @ Shoppers the week.

FOUR & FIVE: The Body Shop Almond Nail & Cuticle Oil – $12.00 CAD / Almond Hand & Nail Cream – $10.00 CAD

IMG_7909

This really isn’t a purchase I made on my own per-say but my mom picked up for me (thanks Mom!).  I’m in LOVE with this almond cuticle nail oil from the Body Shop!  I keep one at my desk at work and apply it while I’m on the phone or when I have a few spare minutes and it keeps my cuticles moisturized and my nails smooth and shiny. I love the brush applicator as its such a simple and mess free way to apply it!  I’m going to keep this one on my nightstand so I can apply this before I go to bed.

I also received a tube of the Almond hand cream which so far I am also loving.  This is light and creamy but super moisturizing and non-greasy.  It also absorbs quickly which for me, is important in a hand cream. I really like the scent too – it’s fresh and not overpowering.   I’ve only used this a couple of times but so far I’m feeling like this is going to be topping my list of favourite hand creams!ntil next time!

Kate Spade Love

picmonkey_image (1)

Please see links to items below via Nordstrom

On of my favorite designer brands would have to be Kate Spade.  She’s all about bows, polka dots, stripes, color and sparkle and everything is just so girly yet still classy and tasteful.

Despite how much I love this brand I was dismayed to discover that I only own one Kate Spade item. #What?  Obviously that needs to change stat.  I’ve been on the hunt for a new handbag for a few months and I have seriously been considering a few Kate Spade options.

Anyway I thought I’d put together a bit of a list of a few of the things that I’m currently coveting:

First off, this Glitter iPhone case:

_9064045 I currently own this case; the difference being I purchased it at Winners for $14.99. I have a iPhone 5, not a 6 so that explains the difference in price.  Despite that I’d probably pay full price for this case because I LOVE it.  It’s lightweight, sleek and adds a touch of sparkle to my day.

Corneila Crystal Bezel Leather Strap Watch

_10084297

I can barely put into words how much I want this watch.  I came across it online and then actually saw it in person at my local Hudson’s Bay store and it took everything in me to walk away from it.  I’m not a watch person at all but for this I would become one!  The white leather strap makes me a little nervous and I believe it comes in a pale pink version as well but I absolutely love how the coloured crystals around the face pop against the white.

Bird’s the Word Flamingo Stud Earrings

_10743049

I don’t have pierced ears but if I did, these would be on my ears.  Flamingos seem to be in for spring/summer, I’ve seen them a few places and I just think they are so fun!  Love the details on these including the crystals representing the feathers.

Livia 2 Sunglasses

_8083180

I feel like its crazy to spend $215 on a pair of sunglasses. And it probably is.  Not probably, it just is.  I rarely buy expensive sunglasses because I lose them all the time, throw them in my purse without a case, drop them on cement, etc.  So within a month of use (assuming I still have them) they’re usually scratched to hell with the arms hanging on by a prayer.  But these have a BOW on them.  I’m certain I would take much better care of these.

Licorice Too Pump

_9420300

Sparkly pink pumps.  No further explanation needed.

Cedar Street – Maise Satchel

_10059210
This is one handbag I’ve been eyeing for months.  It’s a perfect size – not too big and not too small – and it offers a wrist strap and an adjustable cross body strap.  I also like that it has a zipper – I prefer having security for things like my keys and wallet.  This colour (Fresh Air) is gorgeous and perfect for spring/summer but I’m also eyeing the Guava (coral) and the old boring black.  I love light coloured purses but I’ve had some bad experiences with the dye from my jeans rubbing off on them and basically ruining them so I’m a little cautious.

I could have added about 498 more things to my list but I’ll stop here.  Kate Spade is a high end brand with high end prices so as much as I love all.the.things I don’t have an unlimited bank account.  Right now I’m in need of a new purse so that is a high possibility.  I also can’t stop thinking about that watch, I’m a little obsessed.  Might have to do something about that!

Have a great week!

Swimwear Inspiration

I love shopping.  But I hate shopping for swimwear.  If I ever need inspiration to start eating better and exercise more, I head to the mall and start trying on swimsuits.  Works every time.

However as we move closer to summer, swimsuits are kind of a necessity.  As much as I hate searching for one and then actually wearing it, I like to find one that I feel somewhat comfortable in.  And I don’t shy away from bright colors, prints and patterns.  Might as well make it fun, right?

I have far from a great bikini body but I always gravitate towards two pieces.  I find them more flattering than a one piece on my body and I typically have a different sized top from bottom so it’s easier to get something that fits.

The last few years I’ve had some good success at Victoria’s Secret.  Their swimwear is generally reasonably priced and they have a large selection of different styles.  This year though…almost everything is REALLY skimpy, which is disappointing.  Lots of cutouts, thin fabrics, barely there bottoms.  No thanks.

My preferred style is a halter top with a regular scoop bottom.  I feel like a halter is more secure and I don’t have to worry about straps sliding/slipping down.  I’m usually not interested in bottoms that need to tie on the sides either.  Occassionally I’ll find a strapless top that works for me too but those are usually few and far between.  I also prefer no underwire as well but sometimes it’s hard to find a supportive top without it.

Below are some suits that I found online that look pretty promising.  But as I’m sure you’re all aware, what they look like online and what they actually look like on can be worlds apart.  I’ll need to psych myself up to get out to the mall at some point within the next month or so and give some of these a try in person.

unnamed

Find these:   One   /   Two   /   Three   /    Four   /   Five

Sidenote: Who knew H&M had such cute swimwear?  I have no idea what the quality is like but I’m definitely going to pay them a visit!

Do you have any favorite places to buy swimwear?

Have a great day!

Plain White Tees!

There’s nothing I love more than a simple t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans.  Come summer, I swap the jeans for shorts, preferrably denim. It’s simple and casual, soooo comfortable and just easy.

My fashion inspiration for this look (and about a million others), hands down, would have to be Jennifer Aniston.  She is like the poster child for making jeans and tees look amazing (also LOVE her hair in this pic):

Apparently she gets her t-shirts tailored…and while I’d love to do that, let’s be honest – never going to happen.  Taking things like jeans and dress pants to the tailor are a big enough struggle for me, I can’t ever see myself taking t-shirts. Fairly certain she’s not picking up the $20 t-shirt at her local mall however, so I suppose if you’re spending a hundred dollars or more on one t-shirt, getting it professionally tailored only makes sense.

I’m always on the hunt for perfect, plain white tees!  I used to love Gap’s version but they’ve completely changed theirs this year and I’m not a fan of the fabric so they are out.  I prefer a v-neck, fitted but not tight and a light cotton with just the right amount of stretch in them so they keep their shape but don’t cling.  Not too much to ask, right?

Plain White Tees

|   one   |   two   |   three   |   four   |   five   |   six   |

I’m going to head out this weekend and see what – if anything I can find.  I’m pretty picky about what I like when it comes to t-shirts so it’s very likely that I’ll be coming home empty handed.  If you have any suggestions, I’d love to hear them!

Wishing you a great weekend!
